Your kind cooperation is requested in adhering to the following:

1. Minimum deposit of $500 is required as a retainer.
2. In the event of client making date change where photographer is not available or client cancellation for any reason, all deposits are non-refundable.
3. The remaining balance is due on or before the wedding day. The balance owed must be received before any photographs will be processed.
4. Proofs and/or negatives will be delivered in approximately four weeks from the wedding date (unless otherwise stated in services provided section).
5. If Erik Trautmann is unable to perform to the guidelines of this contract due to a fire, other casualty, strike, act of God, act of terrorism, other cause beyond the reasonable control of the parties, or due to the photographer Erik Trautmann’s illness, and if Pascal Photographic Studios is unable to provide a photographer that is agreeable to the client, then all fees paid by the client will be returned in full. Pascal Photographic Studios shall have no further liability with respect to the agreement. If Pascal Photographic Studios is unable to perform to the obligations in this contract for any other reason, the studio or Erik Trautmann will not be liable for costs in excess of the amount the client has previously paid. This limitation of liability will also apply in the event that negatives are lost through camera malfunction, damaged in processing, lost in mail transit, or otherwise damaged or lost without fault of the photographer, Erik Trautmann.
6. The client will obtain proofs and/or negatives that may be used for newspaper announcements. Images may be used for personal use only, and may not be sold or published without the written consent of Erik Trautmann.
7. All rights to images created by Erik Trautmann will remain with the photographer. Erik Trautmann reserves the right to display any photographs made in conjunction with this wedding as samples of work for the purposes of window and showroom exhibit, advertising, promotion via the internet, publication, instruction or professional competition without compensation to the clients.
8. Coverage plan times must be used consecutively. Time starts when Erik Trautmann arrives at the stated location and finishes when the coverage time runs out.
Erik began his career in the darkrooms of New York City’s New School of Social Research studying photojournalism with accomplished press photographers. He later interned with Pulitzer Prize winner J. Ross Baughman at Visions Photo Agency in New York.
His strong eye for composition made him an early stand out, winning recognition in Photographer’s Forum magazine’s annual college competition three years in a row. After completing his training at the Center For Media Arts in commercial photography in New York he assisted some of the city’s leading fashion and portrait photographers.
Returning to Fairfield County, Connecticut where he was born and raised, Erik turned his sights back to journalism, freelancing for magazines and newspapers including the Connecticut Post where he was later hired as a staff photographer. His photographs have been featured in the New York Times and the Boston Globe and renowned magazines, Vanity Fair and People. Erik continues to work in journalism as staff photographer for Hearst Connecticut Media. Throughout his career he has been awarded accolades from prestigious trade and community organizations such as The Associated Press and The New England Press Association.
Combining his strong background in fashion and portrait photography and using his photojournalistic sense for the candid moment Erik has turned to the joy of telling beautiful wedding stories. His event photography has appeared in prominent trade publications most notably Weddingbells magazine. Erik is assisted by his wife, Tamarah. Together they take pride sharing in a couple’s very special day.
